July is by far the best month of the year! … OK maybe December comes in at a close second; thanks to snow, skiing, family, Wigilia, Christmas carols and of course gifts!
But July means the beach, tanning, frozen drinks (preferably alcoholic ones), barbeques, celebrations (at least for the Americanos and les français), concerts, vacations, new friendships and summer romances!
AHEM! …OK! July also happens to be my birthday month, and this July brings a particularly special birthday for me… It’s my golden birthday! I can’t tell you how much I am looking forward to my birthday which I intend to spend at the Disneyland Anaheim Resort with my amazing friends! And while my wonderful family and friends have phenomenal instincts when it comes to picking out gifts for me, I will still drop a few hints here and there… or one major one here!

Double Ended Cosmetic Brush Set from Forever 21 ($7).
I am obsessed with makeup and painting faces and these hot pink brushes from Forever 21 are hot, hot, hot.

Beauty Rush: Sweet Tease Body Mist, Sparkling Lotion and Body Lotion from Victoria’s Secret ($12 or 3/$25).
I abuse this stuff… it’s irresistible and it absolutely lives up to its name!

Senorita Margarita Bath and Shower Gel by PHILOSOPHY ($16).
The smell of summer bottled up.

Brenna Tank by Abercrombie & Fitch ($24).
I must go through hundreds of these. These tank tops are so conveniently, cute, comfy and versatile- you can wear, run or sleep in them.

Coralista Blush by Benefit($28).
One of my best friends, Simona, turned me onto this. It’s amazeballs. It gives you that perfect flush… Thank you, Simoshka!

Brandy Melville USA located in Santa Monica and Westwood.
I love this brand! Its fashionable and affordable! Honestly, if it’s from Brandy Melville, I will love it.

Gold Starter Charm Bracelet by Juicy Couture ($42).
I love hearts and charms and I’ve already picked out the first charm, in case you were wondering…

Chiffon Oversized Button Up in Black by American Apparel ($58).
This shirt is perfect for so many reasons. I love its versatility. You can dress it up or dress it down, you can wear it by itself or layer it.

Wayne Woven Sandals in Rose by Dolce Vita ($60).
What I love about these sandals is their simplicity. It doesn’t matter that they’re rose colored, the design will ensure that they will go with most anything.

Silk Betsey Babe Scarf by Betsey Johnson ($78).
I love that at first glance you don’t necessarily notice Marilyn Monroe. It’s just a beautiful scarf- one of my favorite accessories! And then comes the frosting on the cake! Also, I’m a little obsessed with that Roy Lichtenstein style…

Metro Train Case in Pink from Sephora ($98).
To satisfy my both my obsession with makeup and keep my things organized and neat…

Ice Cream Sundae Manicure & Pedicure at The Painted Nail Salon ($100).
They had me at ice cream.
The Painted Nail in Sherman Oaks offers a spa manicure and pedicure that allows you to choose your own bath ice cream scoop scent such as Chocoholic or Vanilla Purity. They also offer exfoliating sugar scrub, ice cream sandwich callous treatment (and you get to take it home with you), foot masque topping, body icing massage, topped off with your choice of lacquer.

Gold Plated Single Bullet Pendant 20” by Bullet Girl ($190).
I have an inner bad-ass and she likes to beat men up and knock back shots of Vodka. She loves the Runaways, safety pins, spikes…

Lorissa Peep-toe Pump in black suede by Sam Edelman ($200).
…Speaking of spikes… Honestly, I just love contrasting what are thought of as traditionally masculine and feminine materials. I love the idea of suede with spikes.

Gold plated pink glass ring by Yves St. Laurent ($250).
Last but not least I love this ring. It’s so unusual and completely unique.
And there you have it ladies and gentlemen! HA! I really must be a bona fide L.A. girl…. Either way, happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, la la la la la la la, happy birthday to me!
