There are several things about these images that I love. First and foremost, I love the platinum blonde hair with dark eyebrows. I love it so much that I adopted it as part of my own look. I also love that sequined, body-hugging, emerald green, long-sleeve dress and that pose (!) but most surprisingly I find myself in love with that unusual mustard color… Hmmmm, I might have to incorporate that into my wardrobe…

By far the most stylish guests at the royal wedding, Victoria Beckham donned a navy boat-neck sheath dress from her own Fall 2011 collection, towering Christian Louboutin navy heels and matching Philip Treacy hat , while her husband opted for a Ralph Lauren suit with light grey cravat accented by his CBE medal (Commander of the British Empire). He did however commit a minor fashion faux pas by sporting his medal on the incorrect side. Oops…

When Alexander McQueen, tragically took his life last year, he left nearly impossible shoes to fill but designer Sarah Burton has taken on the challenge with immense grace and ease. And now it seems, her hard work has paid off. Rumors have been circulating that soon-to-be Princess Kate Middleton has chosen Alexander McQueen for the daunting task of creating her royal wedding dress. ”It is a bold and brilliant decision - not just for British fashion, but for the industry worldwide,” Hilary Alexander of the Daily Telegraph was quoted saying.
Sarah Burton’s latest collection certainly did not exactly quash the rumors with the addition of a stunning and uniquely McQueen wedding gown. The collection itself was a breathtaking tribute to winter’s ice queen with endless fur trims and Burton’s meticulous attention to detail. It was a triumph and by far my favorite fall collection this season. Here are my favorite looks.

There was no shortage of drama at the Fall 2011 RTW CHRISTIAN DIOR fashion show. Galliano’s ever present romantic female protagonist gallivanted on the runway in rich autumn and jewel tones and as has been the most prominent of fall trends- FUR.
It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to the talented Galliano. His hateful words were the gunshot heard around the fashion world and brought an unfortunate end to his long standing career at CHRISTIAN DIOR. He will be missed. However, it is a great reminder that big or small, there are consequences to our actions. Here are my favorite looks.
