Objet du Jour: Rag & Bone 98 Shirt ($275.00).
The pajama trend is huge at the moment, and I can’t say I object! On that note, I’m mildly obsessed with this Rag & Bone pajama-like shirt. I love the bright turquoise piping and how effortlessly stylish it looks. It’s a little preppy, but why not?

Caroline Trentini’s Olivier Theyskens Wedding Gown [VOGUE].
This morning I tweeted about the glorious May issue of @voguemagazine and here is a quick snapshot of my reasoning.
Glamour girl and fashion model, Caroline Trentini (24), was recently married in Brazil in an Olivier Theyskens design. Her gown seems to be heavily influenced by the McQueen Sarah Burton creation for the Duchess of Cambridge, which in turn was heavily influenced by Hollywood goddess turned Princess, Grace Kelly’s wedding gown.
It’s absolutely fascinating to see all the small influences and the entirely original nuances. Caroline Trentini looked simply breathtaking- and I’m sure her husband would agree. Our most sincere congratulations! Xoxo

I’m late! I’m late! For A Very Important Date!
We’ve all had those days. Your alarm wakes you up, you hit snooze or sleep right through it altogether and suddenly you find yourself screaming, “I’m so late!”Well my fashion darlings, it’s not a bad idea to have what I affectionately refer to as my “uniform”. It’s pretty basic, a great tee, comfy jeans, a blazer, big sunglasses, an even bigger tote bag and flats (for running).
But a few little luxuries can help things feel less rushed such as a sexy set of lingerie or cute (diamond) earrings. The best solution, however, are your beauty products. I love the smell of vanilla, hence some of my nicknames (Cupcake, Poptart, etc) and nothing makes me feel better about running late than the smell of a tasty treat. Bronzer and blush are a must for my ivory skin and that Erase Paste by Benefit? Let’s just say no one will ever see your puffy eyes or blemishes again.

A Funny Story - Great Minds Think Alike!

Let me preface this with- I LOVE my gf’s @sorayabakhtiar’s style! This weekend, between my many errands, I managed to swing by @Forever21 and purchase this gorgeous wool hat. I thought it would be perfect for London in the fall.

It wasn’t until I got home that I suspected that I had seen it somewhere before- and I was right! Soraya, author of The Trend Report, was seen wearing it to the the Fall 2012 RTW BURBERRY PRORSUM show in February!

The look was featured on Refinery29 and ranked number 5! It must be true- great minds think alike!

Look of the Week: @CocoRocha in Zac Posen at the 9th Annual Spring Dinner Dance in NYC.
I love this! Mademoiselle Rocha looks like Spring personified.
I have to say that I didn’t love this dress when I first saw it on the runway, but this is just the instance of the right gown on the right woman. She looks ethereal and is reminiscent of Persephone and her bittersweet return to Earth from the Underworld. It’s a high-fashion mélange of Greek mythology. Beautiful, just beautiful…
